POWOW Produce on Wheels Without Waste 60 Pounds for $10 {Arizona Locations}
Saturday morning August 20th, from 6:00am - 9:00am. The original $10 for 60 lbs. of fresh nutritional produce program.
***REMEMBER IT'S SUMMER TIME*** We do not rescue the amount of varieties in the summer that come thru fall and winter and cannot guarantee all variety of produce will be available at each host site distribution location.

As many of you may have seen, there is a new Kneaders Bakery and Cafe opening TODAY in Tucson- located at 3570 N. Craycroft Road at River and Craycroft near Q
We went to a media event yesterday and it was fun and yummy! I got to practice making my own pastries with Chef Kate and I had to rep AZ and Arizona Families of course!
There is an awesome FREE French Toast offer for the first 100 people from 8-11AM on Friday (8/19) TODAY and Saturday (8/20) TOMORROW. Just be there and be hungry :)

We went during the last event and we loved all the nose art- actually some full body art. These are located outside behind the space building- try to catch them before the sun goes down for some fun pics and the kids enjoyed exploring all the designs and looking inside.
Loving the clouds and light at dusk during our visit!
Inside the main hangar, there are so many different activities for the family yo enjoy including a scavenger hunt! During the previous visit they offered a hands-on cockpit visit!
Discounted evening admission of $10 starts at 4:00pm, with kids 12 and under FREE. Great food—burgers, salads, pizza and ice cream—will be for sale in The Fight Grill.

Net proceeds will support WE.org in providing youth empowerment and service learning programs in the USA!
Cinemark Community Day will feature:
- FREE family movies at all Cinemark locations from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Movie selection provided by DreamWorks Animation, Inc.
- Movie selection at each theatre may include the following family-friendly films: Kung Fu Panda 3, Home, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Madagascar 3, and Shrek.
- Discounted concession items including: $2 small popcorn, $2 16 oz. soft drinks, and all packaged candy varieties for $2 (While supplies last)
Showtimes and movie selection will be available to view online at cinemark.com starting August 15th. There are so many fun things to do, see, and make at the Children's Museum Tucson and there are also many discount admission days coming up- there are no coupons required.
1. STEAM Sundays continue through 8/28/16 and offer everyone $3 admission all day
2. $3 admission after 3 pm on weekdays- stop by after school for a visit and have some fun- my kids always have so much energy to burn after school. Beginning Aug. 8 excluding holidays. For now, that means Monday-Friday. After Labor Day, we will return to our regular Tuesday-Friday weekday schedule.
3. FREE Admission Day for all September 7, 2016 Love of Literacy Event

What:The historic Block and Art Museum Tucson offers a free family program the first Sunday of each month. The admission is free for the entire family- just be sure to let them know you are there for the free family activities. The activities are also free. We have gone to many of these and it is also makes for a great day downtown!
This Sunday - August 7, 2016 will focus on the following:
Explore the exhibition The Splendors of Woven Art: Oriental Rugs and Textiles from the Reza Amindavar Collection, and create your own intricate work of art using shape and pattern as a foundation.
When:1-3pm 8/7/16
Where:140 N Main Street Tucson (parking on side streets or even the main library garage isn't far)
