FRIDAY 2/4

What: Storytime at Agua Caliente Park- Awesome stories with a craft activity and ducks nearby!!! More info. HERE.  I frequent this activity with my children and we think it is bien padre (really cool)

What: Home Depot Kid's Workshop-Just in time for Valentine's Day- what a cute gift from your child to somebody maybe Grandma?  A heart shaped shelf is the project!  Your child gets a free Home Depot apron too!

What: Sabino Junior Ranger Program-Kids ages K-6th grade can participate in tomorrow's activity and every Saturday through March 12, 2011.  Presentations and activities include desert survival, local flora and fauna plus all the beauty of Sabino Canyon.

What: TSO for Kids!Rubato the Rattlesnake is in search of his rattle! Help him in the hunt with the TSO Brass Quintet as they go on a musical journey through the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum!  What: Pima Air and Space Museum Make and Take model airplane-for children 5 years and older and their adult companions, this program is designed to introduce students to the hobby of model building and the math and historical research used to build accurate scale models. Each student builds a snap tight airplane they can take home and has a chance to view models made by expert model builders. More info. HERE

What: La Encantada Arts festival will feature the work of premier artisans who specialize in everything from oil paintings to sculpture, from rustic furniture to handcrafted jewelry!
The show will also be featuring free children’s art activities and live entertainment all day long! On the main stage in the lower level TUCSON LIFESTYLE courtyard, live performing arts entertainment will take place throughout the weekend in a series of formats and genre’s including: dance, theatre and music.
