SATURDAY 3/26
What: TMC Be Safe Saturday Fair Come out and visit over 100 health and safety display booths, Meet TMC’s Tomas, our Safety Mascot, Health & safety education, information and demonstrations for more info. go HERE  We have gone the last 2 years and it is a blast!  Everything from firetrucks, ambulances to check out, germs to investigate and BUGS!

Cost:FREE(with food to purchase)

 What: First Annual Anna Henry Elementary Community Field Day — Fun, Food, and Info Fair
Over 50 booths including information on community resources, field games for kids and an interactive display from Homeland Security Investigations.
Where:650 N. Igo Way (near 5th Street and Camino Seco)
When:11am-3:30pm
Cost:FREE (food and raffles for purchase)


What:Tucson Green Art and farmer's Market Kids Day! We live near this and get fresh eggs and chile rellenos frequently and now they have this from their FB site, "Come join us this weekend for a fun packed day for kids! There will be games, and face painting, and delicious healthy snacks for kids young and old. We want to celebrate the lives TROT has touched with a bang. So come join us for one last rally of support for Therapeutic Riding Of Tucson"

What: Tortoise and the Hare Play. Watch as two animals face off in a battle of speed and wits.  Who will win?  What's at stake?!  Since when could animals talk?!?  Almost all of these questions will be answered.  Plus all Japanese erasers sold for the next month they will give 50% to the red Cross in Japan.

 What: Build and Grow clinic- Fortune Teller and if this is your first time there get a free apron and goggles for each participating child.  Plus after each project child will receive a completion certificate and badge! Go HERE to pre-register!

What: PIma Air and Space Museum Young Kids Program Explore aviation with a focus on female aviators Ages 4-7. Go HERE reservations are required.
When: 1pm-2:30pm

What:Muñecas quitapeñas.  A volunteer opportunity for kids/teens ages 11-18 to talk about stress and how it affects us and then make Guatemalan worry dolls for chronically ill children and their families in the Tucson area. Call (520) 881-3300 x 120  and talk to Heather Jonesto register.

What:Spring Fun Festival- Carnival style games (my son adores these things)silent auction, talent show, carnival style games, food and inflatable rides. Tickets for food, rides and games are 50 cents.

What:JAPAN DISASTER RELIEF CONCERT Performers include members of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and Arizona Opera Orchestra, University of Arizona School of Music students and professors, and other professional musicians from Tucson and Phoenix.  (Thanks, Laura)

Cost:FREE donations appreciated  100% of the donations received will be sent to the JAPANESE RED CROSS.


What: Rythm IndustryFactory Come check out Tucson's amazing artists- music, dancing and performances by Batucaxe, Flam Chen and Odaiko Sonora!!!!

 SUNDAY 3/27
What: Cyclovia  Tucson bicycle and pedestrian mania LOL....A huge community event to halt the cars and a bunch of fun activities in between. For more info. go HERE  There is everything from Aztec dancers, zumba, water activities to a how to quick class on children;s bicycles!

Where:Starts at Tucson Children's Museum and Armory Park downtown

What:Toy Train Museum Open House. Toy trains of different sizes and shapes will run, whistles blowing and bells ringing, on 16 different tracks. There are also exhibits of old toy trains, railroad memorabilia and a World War II vintage caboose
