 What:Yuri's Night: A Celebration of 50 Years of Manned Space Flight"April 12, 2011 is the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's historic flight into space.  He is the first man to orbit the Earth.There will be a lecture at 6:00pm by Sy Liebergot, Apollo 13 Mission Control EECOM, a panel at 7:00pm of people who lived in Russia when Yuri made his historic flight, hands on activities, telescopes, and much more.Groups like the Physics Factory, the National Optical and Astronomy Observatory, Flandreau Planetarium, and many more will be on hand."

What: Govinda's Ram fest 2011We have gone to quite a few of their festivals over the years and the fire performances are AWESOME like always and I love the traditional Indian dancing but it does get a bit late for my kiddos...the free feast is offered at 8:30ish but we usually end up buying other food beforehand because it is tarde for us!
