What:Holiday Artisans' Market is newly expanded featuring more artisans, food vendors, a kids play area, a live music stage, and more! Museum galleries featuring the highly anticipated exhibition: Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present will be free and open to the public all weekend. Bring the whole family for a fun filled afternoon at the Museum!

What:Holiday for the Park ornament show represents a circle of giving that begins with regional artists who create and donate exquisite, and unique hand-crafted ornaments and holiday decorations which are put on display, and offered for sale to benefit the Park. The funds raised through Holiday for the Park help us fulfill our mission to provide a unique place where people can enjoy the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and learn about its natural, artistic and cultural heritage.

What:The Arizona Refugee Connection is throwing its second annual Kickback to help raise money to complete construction of a school in Abul, Sudan. Remember having a classroom, a desk, pencils, paper, books, etc? Right now the children of Abul learn how to read and write using sticks and the dirt. However, you can help make a difference in the lives of these children. There will be several refugee performers,a silent auction (you could win a trip to CANCUN!) a raffle (win one of several fabulous prizes), street games, refugees selling arts and crafts, and more...Oh yeah, and FREE FOOD from Chipotle and Kababeque! What:THE TORTOISE AND THE HARE. This new musical take on the classic tale features original musical numbers by Michael Martinez and choreography by Kristi Loera, putting audiences track-side of a momentous fairy-tale sporting event with some old and new lessons to learn along the way. Get ready to cheer on your favorite competitor and don’t forget to stretch!

What: Butterfly Magic at the Gardens...walk through an amazing live exhibit where exotic butterflies fly by and even land on you! See the stages of metamorphosis in front of your eyes! My family has gone many times and LOVE it but be prepared for hot and humid conditions inside the butterfly room :)

What:“Helping Africa’s most vulnerable children today, so they can help Africa tomorrow”
Join us for this free, all ages concert! Founded in 1984, this choir is made up of children from some of Africa’s poorest communities who travel to raise funds & awareness. The funds they raise are currently providing care & education for around 7,000 children in Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, Sudan, Nigeria & Ghana.
Children are encouraged to attend.
