What:WHAT:UofA Family Days AKA Poetry Joey! Seriously, these are the BEST!!!! Poetry Joeys for 3 age groups  Experienced poets from the Tucson Youth Poetry Slam lead an exciting writing and performance workshop for any interested middle and high school students. This is a unique opportunity for teens to explore slam poetry in a youth-centered environment and become part of the TYPS community!
Plus other writing activities, games, stories, and puzzles for all ages.

What: Finding Kind is a documentary of that journey, and of the filmmakers' quest to take these experiences and find a common ground of kindness and mutual respect. In addition to all of the individual girls and women who share their personal experiences about girl on girl bullying with the filmmakers, Parsekian and Thompson include interviews with respected experts and authors in the fields of psychology, education, and the interrelationships of women and girls.

What: Pima Air and Space Museum Young Kids Program For children 4-7 years of age and older bring an adult to experience  it. With hands on activities you can build your own experiments that you can take home. What: Lowe's Build and Grow- Your child can build a cool dinosaur and then choose the stickers to make it a cartoon or a realistic dinosaur!Your kids won't want to miss the first part of the 2011 Build and Grow train! Come back each week to build the next piece and complete your train! Children get to make a cute wooden project and if this is your first time there get a free apron and goggles for each participating child.  Plus after each project child will receive a completion certificate and badge! If the weather is good, the Purple Bamboo Ensemble will perform outside on the lawn in front of the library rather than inside the library.

What: Food Truck Round-up Each Food Truck is it's own kitchen on wheels. Each chef has her/his own way of combining fresh ingredients. We like keeping this event relatively unknown, and kind of small, so that we can all enjoy sampling different food truck cuisine. A little Sunday afternoon exploration.We set up tables and chairs at  and invite Tucson's food trucks to drop by.See artists in Action: Mel Dominguez and David Tineo. The Art Library will be set up. Look through arts related books.Balloon twisting entertainment in food lines.
