I had the opportunity to review Barefoot Books selections with my kiddos and we loved them!
Barefoot Books is an independent publisher, with offices in Cambridge, USA and Oxford, UK, that specializes in carefully crafted books, gifts and digital content that help children on their journey to becoming happy, engaged members of the global community.
What better way to become acquainted with the global community than with a delightfully illustrated World Atlas. My son studies different countries as part of his Kindergarten curriculum and this book is an awesome way to review, reinforce and investigate further for years to come.

He immediately stretched out on the floor with his new book and wanted to find Australia and the kangaroo helped. He immediately pointed it out. It is a large hardback for only $19.99!
He also wanted me to sit down with him so he could tell me a few things he had learned at school and asked me to read some things to him. There are fun, fold-out parts of maps and flaps to discover facts underneath! There is also an iPad app for the World Atlas.
My daughter also helped me review a fun book appropriate for a 2 year-old called The Shape Song Sing-Along Book!
Songs are great tools to help us learn and remember. ! My son even said he "has it" this morning and started singing the song to my daughter :)
We read through the book and danced with the animation on the computer ;)
I would recommend checking these two selections out and you can browse through many more quality books at the Barefoot Books online catalog HERE.
