Save Money for College with #AZ529

My son wants to be an entomologist.....and an astronaut, a policeman and a drummer!  I guess he could be all of those, right?  Bugs are definitely his thing and careers in science often entail many years in college and research labs at the university.  So, I decided to participate in a review of information about the AZ 529 Plan to start saving for college.

My kiddos are 3 and 6 years old.  Is now the time to start saving for college?  Can I do it?  These were questions I asked myself when I started to look over the AZ529.gov information I received in the mail.

I realized that I could have started earlier and that I should start now.  I also found out there are plans for as little as $15 per month I save triple that in one couponing grocery store trip!

You can do it too.  There is a tax incentive for the 529 Plan.  The  Arizona 529 Plan is a college savings plan named after Section 529 of the Internal Revenue Code sponsored by the State of Arizona.  The 529 Plan is designed to provide a parent, grandparent, or anyone else an opportunity to save for a child’s educational dreams within a tax-deferred savings vehicle.

Another great place to connect with Arizona College Savings and ask questions is on their Facebook page HERE.

I was part of the #AZ529 College Savings Blog Tour.  I was compensated and provided with a kit to share information about the savings plan.
