UApresents is hosting a taping of the popular NPR show From the Top at Centennial Hall on Sunday, Feb. 17. The show will feature performances and captivating personal stories of extraordinary young classical musicians from across the country, including two local musicians: CAMERON WILLIAMS (piano), 13, is from Tucson, Arizona where he is a student at Basis Tucson. AUGUSTUS WOODROW-TOMIZUKA (guitar), 17, is from Tucson, Arizona where he studies with Thomas Patterson. Also on the broadcast: 16-year-old trumpeter Elmer Churampi, originally from Lima, Peru, currently studying at Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan; 11-year-old violinist Elli Choi from New York City, New York; and 15-year-old cellist Daniel Kaler from Wilmette, Illinois.  When:Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 4pm Where:UApresents at Centennial Hall Cost:Tickets start at $15 GET $5 tickets online HERE with code “TOP” for $5 tickets!** Restrictions apply.
