MOD Pizza is opening its second Tucson location tomorrow, May 27, 2016 in the Wilmot Plaza on the northeast conner of Broadway and Wilmot. We had the opportunity to try it and we just might have to go back for the Grand Opening for some more.

This laid-back and friendly "Made with any toppings you want. Same price" eatery is a delicious option on the east side. 

We had a feast of all different flavors from the simple Maddy for my youngest, a Maddy pizza add pepperoni for my son, a meat and jalapeño creation for my hubby, asparagus for Grandma, and... 

the "Lucy Sunshine" with artichokes for me. I loved the red sauce dollop finish. 

We also sampled a large salad to share and the honey lime dressing was my favorite. The drink options were more than the usual with some house-made, fruity and flavorful iced teas and lemonades along with Coca-Cola in the bottle just to name a few.We were all very pleased. 

The kids got to try the shakes because it IS the first day of summer and why not?
