Back to School Shopping with DI
-Deseret Industries in Tucson
The Deseret Industries is a great back to school destination: There is a wide variety of new and like-new children’s clothes including designer brands. The above outfit was $7 total and has 3 pieces: jeans from Mudd, shirt from Faded Glory, and the plaid top from Aeropostale.
There are different clothes and items put out every day and although there wasn't as many options in my son's area (boys at his age tend to be a bit rougher on their clothing). We did find Volcom shorts and a #TeamCap t-shirt.
My daughter definitely found a lot as you can see. All of her items were priced $1-3 and we were very happy to find a new Danskin leotard in her size for ballet!
We also included books in our Back to School shopping maybe because I am a teacher or my kids love reading or because we found some of our favorite American Girl books. $1 each
You can also donate to DI- If your children have clothes and other items they’ve outgrown over the summer, consider donating them to Deseret Industries. Donations are tax deductible and help your community by providing job training for associates. Donated items can find new life with other families. Growing up in Utah - we always donated and shopped at DI and I was happy to find there is one location currently in Tucson at 605 E. Grant Road!
