What: Zoom.....Zoom! Discover all the ways you can go at Zoom...Zoom!, the Museum's Free community event that's all about transportation! From the humble pony to giant construction trucks and zippy go-carts, thy'll have it all - and you have the chance to climb aboard.
Sixth Avenue in front of the museum will be closed to make room! Police vehichles, firetruck, cement mixer - they're all here. Check out Tucson Electric Power's bucket trucks, fly through the air on a zipline or come closer to the ground, and try your hand (foot?) at stilt-walking.
Guests with vehicles or transportation displays include: Tucson Police Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Oro Valley Police Department, Pima County Sheriff's Department Caterpillar, Tucson Unified School District (TUSD), Southern Arizona Transportation Museum, Tucson Fire Department, Pima County Public Library, Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control, CalPortland, Cruz Electric Bicycles, Sun Tran. Autobahn Indoor Speedway & Events - Tucson, AZ, City of Tucson, Arizona, Rural Metro Fire - Pima County, Franklin Auto Museum and The Circus Academy of Tucson. You will also be able to buy a raffle ticke for a chance to win a Ford Explorer. This even is great fun for kids and adults who love to go!
