Gaslight Theatre Transports Us to the Excelsior in Space Trek {Ticket Giveaway}

Gaslight Theatre Transports Us to the Excelsior in Space Trek {Ticket Giveaway}
Mike Yarema as Captain Quick Jake Chapman as Sprock
The Gaslight Theatre is such a great place for a family night out. Some themes of the shows I wait for in great anticipation more than others and I must admit that I have never watched "Space Trek" themed shows, so I wasn't sure what to expect.
David Orley as Commander Titan
I should realize by now that it never matters the theme because the melodrama at Tucson's amazing local theatre is always a well-oiled machine. You cannot leave the show without feeling laughter, joy, and happiness.

Why is that?

Heather Stricker as L.T. O'Hara and Jacob Brown as Doc. McCea
Gaslight has the most amazing local talent, live music from the house band, fabulous free popcorn, 2 hours of entertainment, witty writing, cool sets, perfect costumes, and a fantabulous menu.
Joe Cooper as Monty
Janee Page as Princess Serena Photo: Brian Gawne
For this show, the Space Fleet officers band together for PEACE in the galaxy. The gorgeous and ethereal Princess Serena, and the crew of the Excelisior make way from Mylanta towards Kaopectate, the capital city of Zantac while crossing over Pepto Bismol.
Erin Thompsona as Ambassador Risa Galacticus and Todd Thompson as Voltaire
What could stop their innocent quest for peace? Well, Volatiare of course- the evil, larger-than-life Zantacean played by Todd Thompson. He is the perfect mix of 80's hairband dude, alien, and goofy class clown. His timing and singing is right on and like always, I like the bad team! His sidekick, played by is the pint size version of giddy wrongdooer, Erin Thompson as Ambassador Risa Galacticus.

Olios give the audience an entire "second show" that showcases live music by the Gaslight Band directed by Linda Ackerman and the cast singing other fun songs. This time it was The Gong Show! We saw a carwash and some ice, ice, ice baby just to mention a couple.
